First introduced in 2004, Pureness Micromodal, for those who are unfamiliar, is one of the organic man-made fibers. It is not a synthetic like polyester or microfiber. Derived from the pure cellulose of the beech tree, micromodal goes through a number of processes to become a fiber. As with all fibers, various qualities are manufactured ... and Zimmerli, of course, uses only the finest available. Ours is so fine that 10,000 metres of the fiber weighs only 1 gram!

To say it as simply as possible, I put on my first Pureness shirt back in May, 2004. Since that day, it has become one of my two favorites, having been laid aside only in favor of Pure Comfort for warm days and Wool & Silk for a few Winter ski outings. I now have two Pureness shirts, each washed more than 100 times ... yet they feel like new each and every time I put them on again. Must be tried to be believed. Care: Wash cold, line dry.
