So why is Zimmerli so darn good? I could try the "They're like gossamer wings upon the gentle night breeze" approach, but if you wanted poetry you wouldn't be at this site. I could say that the cotton lisle is "excellent", the knitting "superb", and the sewing "beyond compare" ... but since I just heard a Honda described as excellent, KFC wings as beyond compare, and Pizza Hut as superb - you get my drift.
Superlatives are somewhat overworked in this new Millennium. Suffice it to say that you won't be disappointed. If you have never worn Zimmerli, you are in for a treat. If you have, maybe you could e-mail me some suggestions as to how to describe the incomparable feeling!

Zimmerli main men's lines are: Royal Classic, Richelieu Rib, Pure Comfort, Pureness Micromodal, and Business Class. The preferred, top-o-the-heap, absolute best are Royal Classic (smooth jersey) and Richelieu (ribbed) in the cotton arena and Pure Comfort & Pureness for a more up-to-date approach. Men favor the Royal Classic by about 2 to 1. It is the softest pure cotton, by far. Business Class, slightly heavier and more economical, is perfect for such outerwear items as T-shirts. Overall, for those who prefer a "second-skin", absolutely nothing anywhere compares to the aptly named Pure Comfort. Zimmerli also creates a range of specialty items such as silk, silk & wool (my Winter favorite!), and pure virgin wool.

Now, here's how this works: We could set up a big , fancy web  site - like the big guys. We could carry every brand under the Sun - like the big guys.

We also stock the entire Marcoliani-Milan sock line, the older, better socks from the Pantherella sock line, and Begg Scottish Cashmere Scarves, the World's finest. 

We don't have a fancy Flash e-commerce site - we leave that to those who sell hundreds of brands and specialize in none.
